Hello

Originally from San Diego, I always knew that and the beauty industry was my calling.. self-taught with a natural knack for art, I honed my skills at Bellus Academy in  Poway, California, mastering the industry's techniques for cinematic, editorial, high fashion, glam, wedding, and special effects makeup. While working two jobs and attending night school, I networked relentlessly, launching my freelance business, “Calivixen Makeup.”

I served as a Makeup Artist for San Diego Fashion Week multiple years, later joining their Makeup Team at Sotheby's Art Auction House in New York City. My portfolio grew with publications in glamour, holiday character effects, studio/editorial, and on-set makeup. Eager to deepen my craft and be a better artist, I studied skin and became a Licensed Esthetician, opening "Calivixen Esthetics,"  a spa offering makeup and skincare services. ​

 

Now, I've relocated to the White Mountains in Arizona to build a life with the man of my dreams in his hometown. I'm rebranding my beauty business branching into the bridal industry here. At my new beauty studio in All Doll'd Up in Eagar, Arizona, I'm creating unforgettable experiences amid stunning scenery .
